Ratings for Monday, February 23 RAW: Nitro:

TNT is quite pissed off at the fact that RAW is receiving higher ratings. According to them they say that since NITRO finishes an hour earlier all of their viewers stay on TV to watch RAW. So their solution is to have WCW extend NITRO to 3 hours a week so USA does not get their viewers. If you ask me they are going to where themselves thin and probable end up losing viewers because of lack of interest.

On a personal note since I am Canadian I do not get the benefit of a 3 hour live NITRO, OOHH Damn! But I do receive TBS and I got to watch THUNDER live for 3 hours. My good GOD there was more action going on in that dance club mix commercial that in the ring with all those commercials.

The Giant is supposedly unhappy and wants out of WCW. His contract is up in March and e could be with the WWF as soon as Wrestlemania.

The internet is full of rumors about Hogan leaving WCW. He apparently has only 4 PPV matches left on his contract and total creative control over his character. The only conceivable reason I could see him leaving is because he is supposed to have a series on Monday nights and it is looking like USA will have a better chance at airing it than TNT/TBS. Basically it would not look good if he is on a station that airs a rival show(RAW) while he is on NITRO. So I guess he will be make a decision based on how safe his ass is in either situation.
